Stirling Moss

When Sir Stirling Moss OBE invited Granite Transformations to upgrade his 3rd-storey bathroom, as part of what he terms his extensive ‘Project 46’ refurbishment, we leapt at the chance to showcase our elegant interior finishes and glass mosaic tiles. The result is a spectacular transformation in clean, crisp, contemporary polar white and silver, a metallic tone that is so appropriate for a race driver who first drove the legendary Mercedes-Benz ‘Silver Arrows’ almost 60 years ago.

Sarah Beeny’s Escape to the Country

If you watched Sarah Beeny’s New Life in the Country on Channel 4, you will know that the property expert and her family swapped London life for a new start on a 220-acre, semi-derelict former dairy farm in Somerset. With plans to update it into a modern, stately home, they turned to Granite & TREND to help them transform their dreams into reality.

It’s not the first time Sarah has worked with us. Back in 2019, we helped her to transform a 250 square foot apartment, and also helped her adapt her extraordinary property in East Yorkshire, Rise Hall, to work as a traditional country house venue.

Rosemary Shrager

What are the must-have essentials in a chef’s kitchen? For Rosemary Shrager, TV cook and The Big Family Cooking Showdown judge, her kitchen was in need of a renovation because functionally, it failed to meet her needs.

Having previously completed the worktops at the now-closed Rosemary Shrager Cookery School in Tunbridge Wells, the chef turned to Granite & TREND Transformations. “Everything has been thought of,” said Rosemary, “I feel like I’m walking into my dreamland!”

Linda Barker

Host of BBC’s ‘Changing Rooms’ and Channel 5’s ‘Brand New House For £5k’ Linda Barker chose Granite & TREND Transformations to makeover her kitchen worktops the eco way.

To reface her fragile slate worktops, without adding much extra weight or depth, Linda opted for our innovative overlay worktops, made using post-industrial recycled content from quarrying processes, in line with her environmental concerns.

60 Minute Makeover with Peter Andre

For this episode of 60 Minute Makeover, we stepped in to help brighten up this thirty-year old kitchen. Our team of expert installers helped transform this space in record time thanks to our innovative top-on-top solution installed overtop the existing worktops. New cupboard doors, appliances, worktops & splashbacks brought the kitchen to the 21st century.

DIY SOS with Nick Knowles

With only nine days to turn a house into a home, the DIY SOS team turned to recycled glass worktops from Granite Transformations. The family is speechless when their new kitchen is revealed for the first time.

One of the first things we did when we moved in was to change the worktops and add a breakfast bar. We had granite laid over the existing worktops to save money and the breakfast bar gives us extra work surface and a place to sit too 🍳 Would definitely recommend @granitetransformations if you want granite but want to save a bit of money!

Worktop reveal 😍😍😍

I am so so happy with my new worktop, every time I walk in it surprises me again, I love it so much!

When we were choosing our options it was very expensive to upgrade to a quartz worktop to the point that my husband who works for a high end builder said it was 25% more than they would charge and refused. There also was a very limited amount of options and none I really loved so he persuaded me to have the laminate and see if I could love it. I lived with it for 6 months but I just couldn’t make myself like it so the time came for a change.

I got in touch with @granitetrendtransformationsuk to cap it with a quartz that I do love and that matches my tiles perfectly for about half the price my developer were asking. The guys came and fitted it on Friday and the whole experience has been excellent throughout. I can’t stop staring at it, it has totally transformed the room and in a way I’m glad I had the laminate first because I don’t think I would have appreciated it as much without.

To this. Is your kitchen upgrade even complete if you don’t post as a transformation Tuesday (on a Wednesday)?? I haven’t changed the world but @granitetrendtransformationsuk has changed my life. From enquiry to installation it was only 3 weeks and one of them weeks was a holiday. After thinking of every possible scenario to rid myself of the black worktop I found them by chance thinking it was too good to be true, but it’s now a reality that I’m living the white worktop dream. Adoring my floor now too thanks to @floorestore after exhausting every other floor scenario we couldn’t have due to the island and thickness of the oak…. not sure what I actually hated more – worktop or floor? (Floor might have just won) but absolutely in love with both now. The doors and island colour change was taken care of by @smartspraysolutionsltd and pulling it all together with the skirting boards and walls was Dan Foreman (Decorator Dans painting & decorating serviced Ltd on fb) who came recommended by Smartspray. And all this while managing two cases of chickenpox in the household. A few additions still needed such as some low level wall tiles and a new blind then we’re all done.

Here’s a little glimpse of our new worktops. We are absolutely in love with them and I can’t wait to show you the full kitchen and the utility! Just a few little additions to make and the kitchen is complete.

I don’t know about you but I’m NOT one for cooking or even using the oven in this heat 🥵 even when we’re on holiday I tend to live off ice cream and crisps – not together I’ll add! 😂 how are you coping with the heat?

In all honesty not a lot! What’s your favourite meal to cook? We really struggle every night to think of new and tasty things to have. The main problem is neither of us are very good or enjoy cooking so it needs to be quick and easy! Could I win a personal chef please?? 🙏🏻

Today we had an appointment with @granitetransformations to decide which granite we will have over the top of the current worktops. We’re not keen on the option that has been put in and this is a lot cheaper than having the whole worktop replaced.

We’ve gone for the plain white (furthest on the left) and I think it’s going to transform the kitchen!
