At the Source

To source our materials for our granite & quartz surfaces, we’re recycling the 70% of material that is wasted in traditional quarry mining as key granite & quartz ingredients for our etherium® By E-stone surfaces, meaning between 30-70% less waste at source.

Our signature blue glass is made from SKYY® Vodka bottles and transformed into incredible mosaic tiles and glass worktops. Our recycled glass overlays use up to 72% post consumer recycled class, saving 7.5 million tons of glass from landfill each year. That’s enough to cut our carbon emissions 2.5 million pounds.

In our Manufacturing Facilities

We manufacture our surfaces ourselves, allowing us to implement technology to reduce our environmental impact. We never stop improving our manufacturing facilities or searching for materials with the minimum possible impact on our planet.

We were the first company to combine recycled beer, wine and mineral water bottles with polymer technology and today, our facilities are operating with:

• 22% less waste material and 20% fewer polluting emissions than standard processes.
• 3-5x times less water, energy, and raw materials than any other rival company.

On the Roads

Due to our cutting-edge manufacturing techniques, our worktops are also much lighter and thinner than solid pieces of granite, marble or quartz. At an unrivalled ¼” thickness, we can transport far more pieces per load, reducing the carbon footprint of our transportation network.

Plus, with our worktops being fabricated by our local teams we can ship our product in bulk orders, rather than one kitchen at a time.

During Installation

Not only are our products themselves eco-friendly, but we operate our installation to reduce waste as much as possible. Our unique installation method allows us to re-utilise existing structures and re-surface existing spaces. Our Top that fits on Top is designed to be installed directly on top of your existing kitchen and bathroom worktops, meaning there no form of demolition is necessary as we can apply our innovative slabs over any existing worktops, saving on sending construction debris to landfill.

Refacing instead of replacing means 75% less waste going to landfill from every installation we do – more than 22 million pounds every year!
