Repurposing and Recycling since 1976
At Granite and TREND Transformations, our sustainability agenda has been a part of our operations for many years. In fact, all of our worktops have elements from recycled resources.
Our etherium® By E-Stone surfaces are made from up to 72% recycled material. We have even created a synergy between our slab and mosaic manufacturing processes, with leftovers from our glass mosaic production crushed and reutilised into some of our etherium® By E-Stone surfaces. We are pioneers in the use of post-consumer recycled glass, from color-sorted roadside waste collections. You discard it, we repurpose it!
It is estimated that 70% of quarry output is not suitable for actual stone slab. That’s only three blocks out of ten considered suitable for architectural and residential use. So we use recycled quarry excess, as key granite and quartz ingredients in our etherium® By E-Stone surfaces saving the planet in more ways than one.
